Facts & Figures
The increasing interest in solar integration issues motivated us to organize the first Solar Integration Workshop in Aarhus in 2011. Since the second edition, the number of participants has always reached more than 100, and even 175 in Berlin for the 2014 workshop, 172 for the event in Vienna and 171 in Stockholm last year.
The 9th Solar & Storage Integration Workshop will be held in Dublin, Ireland with a duration of 1.5 days, preceded by the 3rd E-Mobility Integration Symposium and followed by the 18th Wind Integration Workshop.
The Solar Integration Workshop provides an international forum to:
- discuss project experiences
- discuss innovative ideas and present results from ongoing research
- stimulate interdisciplinary thinking between solar energy and power transmission industries, as well as universities
- identify subjects requiring more research efforts

Presentations are held by invited speakers from companies and leading research institutes as well as by workshop participants (Call for Papers).

The following figures give you some details about the past Solar Integration Workshop in Stockholm/Sweden. Figure 2 shows that the share of participants from Germany is relatively high, which has been the case at past workshops as well.
